Malaria Awareness Campaign

Client: Malaria No More/Exxon Mobil
Project Summary: To develop a strategic campaign for TV/Radio/Social media/Mobile Telecommunications through the production of public service announcements led by Nigerian celebrities in sports, music and film as well a malaria anthem. This campaign will run on various media houses nationwide for 1 year. This is a multi-year project in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Health and other private sector partners.

Mosquito Net Hanging Campaign in Low Income Area of Lagos

Client: Sahara Foundation
Project Summary: To celebrate World Malaria Day 2014, in partnership with Lagos State Malaria Elimination Programme (SMEP), Sahara Group's employees hung long lasting treated mosquito nets in 150 households, a total of 300 nets were distributed in households and a health clinic. A road show led by SMEP, created awareness in 4 surrounding communities. A 3 months post project visit, showed that 90% of households still slept inside a net and malaria prevalence had reduced significantly.

Job Shadow with Students from Government Schools

Client: Sahara Foundation
Project Summary: An employee engagement activity where 20 students from 3 government secondary schools spent the day at Sahara Group's corporate head office in Lagos. Each student was paired with an employee. The overall objective of the project was to expose students about to graduate from secondary school to the work place.

Renovation of Primary School in Abuja

Client: Sahara Foundation
Project Summary: Sahara Group has its second corporate offices in Abuja, where it is a major distributor in aviation fuel. A primary school that had been earmarked for demolition due to the new railway line was renovated. Our intervention ensured that over 500 children will have a safe environment to learn in for the new academic year. The school had never been connected to the electricity grid and had not had water for over 8 years; both problems were solved as a result of this project.

Renovation of Clothing & Textile Lab in a government school

Client: Sahara Foundation
Project Summary: Vocational training is part of the national primary curriculum, however most centres are poorly equipped and lack the basic requirements to teach students. The sewing room that caters to over 800 Primary 5 & 6 children on a weekly basis was renovated to a modern standard and equipped with all the equipment and accessories needed. 10 heads of vocational centres in Lagos were also trained, many of who had never attended a formal training before.

Establishment of a Guardian & Counselling Centre in a Government School

Client: Sahara Foundation
Project Summary: Arguably, the first modern fully equipped solar powered guidance and counselling centre in Nigeria. Attached to the centre is a dedicated counsellor with over 30 years experience working with young people in schools. The centre is located in a government school in Lagos with a population of over 1000.

Whole School Management of a Staff School in Delta State

Client: Transcorp
Project Summary: With the privatisation of the Nigerian power sector Transcorp invested in the Ughelli Power Plant and also the staff school that caters to children of its staff. This is a unique project that involves whole school management, with a population of 1000 students in nursery, primary and secondary education. The overall objective is to raise the educational standard of the school and ensure that a sustainable framework for whole school management is developed and implemented.

Net Distribution to Health Centres in Enugu State

Client: Total Nigeria
Project Summary: Through its partnership with Malaria No More, Total received over 1,000 nets that were distributed to pregnant women and children under 5 in 3 health centres. The distribution was carried out in partnership with the State Ministry for Education and the State Malaria Elimination Programme.

Impact Assessment of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Eye Centre

Client: Guinness Nigeria
Project Summary: Conducted an evaluation of the impact of the Guinness funded eye centre in a bid to develop a 5 year road map for future investments.

Project Management of Education Portfolio

Client: Oando Foundation
Project Summary: 1-year retainer to project manage the Foundation's Adopt-A-School Initiative Programme in 24 states across Nigeria.

The Defining My Tomorrow Project

Client: Nigerian Bottling Company
Project Summary: Designed and implemented a holistic career counselling programme for the client, reaching more than 1,500 secondary students, in 50 schools in 5 states.

Feasibility Study for Market Entry to Nigeria Water Sector

Client: Water Health International
Project Summary: Carried out field and desktop research of water needs across four states and 50 communities in Nigeria with the objective to making recommendations for a market entry strategic plan.

Social Impact Assessment for the Coca-Cola System in Nigeria (1999-2009)

Client: Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited/Lagos Business School
Project Summary: Conduct a social impact assessment of community projects implemented in Nigeria by the Coca-Cola System between 1999-2009.

Organisational Re-structure of the Ovie Brume Foundation

Client: The Ovie Brume Foundation
Project Summary: Conducted an organisational assessment to determine a new strategic direction developed a new road map and took ownership of the Foundation's transformation over a 9 months period.

CSR Community Led Strategy

Client: Plycon Limited
Project Summary: Developed a bespoke community relation's strategy and tool kit to engage with communities where Plycon operates, with a focus on value chain driven community projects that ensure community buy-in.

Employee Engagement Volunteer Programme

Client: Lafarge WAPCO Nigeria Limited
Project Summary: Developed a robust volunteer programme for employees, across 3 locations with the objective of engaging employees in their immediate communities and getting them directly involved in project management.

Legal Aid

Client: Legal Aid Counsel of Nigeria
Project Summary: Developed a strategic plan for business growth and brand awareness for the Legal Aid Counsel, as well as a comprehensive review of its programmes with a view of providing a road map for delivering more impact.
